About the artist
Stephanie Fuller (a.k.a Haitia Fuller) began her career as a studio singer doing commercials and backups for such groups as The Rolling Stones. It was the duets she sang with August Darnell (a.k.a. Kid Creole and the Coconuts) that prompted him to invite her to join him on world tour. With the release of her hit single, TAKE ME FOR A NIGHT IN NEW YORK, it was perfect timing.
When given the time to execute, this self-taught artist poured forth a prolific amount of work that has exhibited and sold worldwide.
“I think it’s my eye for body language that has helped to create this ongoing collection of LES DEMOISELLES. The drawings come first before the captions. After all, The Girls need a voice.”
Stephanie lives and plays in NYC.
